We are pleased to announce that Steve Hill will be taking over the 16U head-coaching job for 2012. This not only brings great coaching to the team but also allows Coach Derek to concentrate on college recruiting and general management of the Kryptonite organization. Coaches Jeff Mohn, Juan Canela and Derek will remain as assistants.
Steve Hill is a well-known and highly respected coach. Steve founded the nationally ranked San Jose Sizzle softball organization in 2002-03 and is currently a very active professional hitting and fielding instructor. Many of Steve’s students have gone on to successful Division-I college careers. We welcome Steve, his wife, Patti an the Hill family to the Kryptonite family.
Professional training for the 97 & 98 teams in 2012
We are also very excited to announce that Brian Niskanen, from Cutting Edge, will step in to help train the 97 & 98 team’s on-the-field. Brian has many years of coaching at the A-Ball level and is also a professional hitting and defense instructor. Brian just finished up a very successful stint as a highly respected 18-Gold coach in which many of his players went on to start their college softball careers. Brian knows what is takes to get to the next level and we are excited to get his assistance.
